Bus 3D

Bus 3D

An Ulaanbaatar bus at rush hour. Reach your stop before your patience runs out: grab the pole when the driver slams the brakes, fight for a seat, decide whether to give it up to an elder or pretend to be asleep, hold your breath against a drunk passenger's smell, and shout "Getting off!" at the people blocking the door.

About this game

Plenty of people in Ulaanbaatar ride the city bus every day, and the rush-hour bus is a symbol of city life: the squeeze, the sudden braking, the battle for a seat, shouting "Getting off!" at your stop. Bus 3D turns all of it into a first-person comedy.

You have two meters: Patience (when it runs out, "I got off in a rage!") and Kindness (how well you treated others). The goal is to get off at a randomly picked stop before your patience runs out. Three levels: easy, medium and hard. Play in Mongolian or English.

Tips

• If you are not holding a pole or sitting when the driver brakes hard, you stumble and lose patience. Listen for the brakes.
• Give your seat to an elder and Kindness goes up. Take too long to decide and you get scolded.
• A green cloud is a drunk passenger's smell. Hold C to hold your breath inside it, but your air runs out.
• Move toward the door as your stop gets close. If people block it, press Q to shout "Getting off!".
